    Were doing 20 days here in our five frame but it depends on weather. I like to see at least an egg in most cells, Catch them and requeen other hives. Drone layers usually have an egg here or there...

    I run 10 in brood boxes for maximum brood and easier inspecting but 9 in honey supers. Almost no frame scratching after going through uncapper. 9 frame also gets us that extra wax from each frame.

    Just ordered 6 thousand deeps after sampling. Way better than pierco imo. deeper cell, more precise. Bees draw them out nicely.

    Some folks smuggled them in 20 or so years ago via queen cage in pocket method. They were bred from but with the few queens available, even with instrumental insemination they would have been inbred....

    Our bees came out of apple,pears and cherries heavy. Many had comb drawn in feeders full of dandelion honey. Has a bitterness to it.
