    Re: 2015 orange bloom Florida.

Moved some this morning as well. Amazed to be able to smell bloom when it was below freezing temps just a few hours earlier. Might be a short, strong flow when it gets warm in the next few days. No...

Well he finally did it. Dave is laughing all the way to the bank now :)
  9. Re: Economics of pollination for distant beekeepers

Cost us around 14k from Florida to ship. The Citrus greening and loss of grove acreage has pushed us to start playing the California game. The honey is just not there in the groves anymore. Maybe a...

    Re: 20oz Fluted Bottles

I was able to tour their facility 2 weeks ago. Definitely a slick operation based on fantastic marketing. They buy their flutes by the pallet from France. They have a "Reserve Tupelo" for sale in the...

    Re: Hive bodies

Shastina has so far been the best quality and price over everyone else. I like the top frame rest joint that they use. Last order I had maybe 3-4 sides that were warped out of 800 boxes.

    Re: 2015 orange bloom Florida.

Warm weather in January = long drawn out scattered bloom susceptible to a late cold snap. Not looking like a great Orange Crop in the future. Hope I am wrong.

Got the 2nd gen Powerstroke. Awesome power and the new turbo upgrade they gave them is great. The engine brake is much more pronounced. Of course I have not towed with it so take it for what it is...

    Re: Flatbed Build Ideas

Just bought a new 2015 f550. It wasn't to bouncy with no bed so I believe you are right. Aluminum probably wouldn't be to bad. The price difference would be about $1700. I decided this morning on...

Thanks for the replies. Ride quality isn't to important for me but I just don't want it to bounce so bad that it is dangerous. One more question, obviously steel is much tougher than aluminum. How...

Bringing this thread back for one more question. Aluminum or steel? I am worried that a aluminum bed may be to light and when you drive around unloaded it would bounce really bad because a F550 has...

    Parafin Wax Supplier

I have 800 boxes to dip and I was wondering where yall get your wax. The local Dadant supplier is out. I have found some wax scrap online for a good price but it may contain scent. Is that a concern?
