I have never banked queens before, but this year looks like I will have more than I can sell very fast. I was not sure if the cages would be big enough.

I think when the slide in you must open an entrance which is 180 deg from the normal entrance. To allow bees in and out of the bottom box.
I think I would close off your bottom entrance and...
When you sell or transport a nuc do you cage the Queen?

when you buy your foundation, there might be some resuidue of any chemical that was in the wax the last guy sold the bee supply co.. then they make foundation out of it.. I have had bees in the past...

I was marking a mated queen today. I had her in my hand, she came loose and flew away.... what do you think the odds of her returning to the hive are? ... I have droped them into the hive before ......

I don't know if your supplier is th problem.... I have 9 hives and 6 this year have way too many drone cells... and these queens did not come from Rossmans.... Some of my hives even built drone cells...
