Were you able to locate any bees ? I was considering Wood's Beekeeping Supply myself.now I am not so sure.
Any of the mints will be good forage for your bees and they readily will spread on their own.

Check out the ingredients of this "boiled" linseed oil. Not what I would call green in any way. I Just use raw linseed oil, works for me.

Both are usable on wood. The raw will take about a week to dry and the "boiled" will be faster due to the the not so friendly petroleum and metallic additives that it has as part of its composition....
