I think the bees prefer the acronites to crocus for a pollen source. the patch I have was literally buzzing with 100's of bees

Last fall I was at another beekeepers house and he had a huge section of tree that he moved that was full of bees. They seemed to do fine. So hopefully yours will to. I agree moving them is better...

I had some robbing going on so i had them reduced to maybe a ¼". I have to admit I didn't go into the bottom box much. They have clam shell type frames / rubber band and yarn holding things together...
Its definitely honey. never thought about it being mouse urine before tasting it though. I will have to keep that in mind if I come across it again. :pinch:
Oldbee I never had to feed these bees . they came from a cut out early in the summer.
