    :D well all mine have been open mated ,and they are still
    nice to me.:D though most are still small hives. you can
    definately see mixed traits. one hive will have brightly
    colored bees right next...

    what I thought was an encredible amount for such a
    small insect.:D:D:D the things humans do. sit around

    frames, prevent swarming, location(which I'm still
    cofused about), weather, management, and a little

    my bees started as Russian, the new queens were open
    mated. the new queens(that I found) are dark, mabey
    a Russian/Carni mix. should be a prety hygenic bee.

    I was reading in another post that someone was getting
    180-200 lbs of honey per hive. how many frames is that
    (are they small, medium, large) does it take to accomplish
    this? that's alot isn't it?...

    Deformed wings on some of the lady's

    I saw some deformed wings on bees from a couple
    different hives. they were walking around unable to fly.
    should I treat right away or wait till fall? I have
    apiguard.

    When are the main honeyflows?

    I live in northwest Arkansas, and I was wondering when
    the main honeyflows start and finish? Aproximately.
    Right now were in a dearth I think? But I should expect
    to see more honey production...

    I usually don't have any kind of reaction to speak of.
    But one time I got stung on the temple, it hurt pretty
    bad. And one time I had one crawl up my pants and
    sting me on the back of the thigh....
