    A yellow jacket trap with raw fish near your feeder will draw the yellow jackets away, they are carnivorous . But not the honey bee.

    I am selling my honey. I don't want to take the chance off selling sugar honey. Can I set up a Nuc, and feed them surp to draw wax? How many bees? Should they be queenless?

    When taking honey from my deeps I dont always have drawn cone to put back.When I put frames with new foundation in they ignor it, or chew it. Is there a way I can use a Nuc for only drawing out cone?

    Yes that's what I use. Shave it off fine and put it in a water sorce for them ( they love my wides fountain ) the salt will give your honey a great taste.

    The bees are after the salt. You need to give them salt like any other critter on earth, if they continue to get it from manure your honey will carry the smell,trust me on that one. I have smelled it...
