    Speed is dictated by the pulley size, not the motor or outlet size. We gear ours down to 2-3 GPM to keep air out of the honey.

    You will find a slight difference depending on age. If it was older, the chains and various other parts will be mild steel vs stainless that we use now.

    Yes indeed! Ive seen what hard water will do the the elements. If in doubt just buy a couple gallons of distilled or purified water. Cheap insurance!

    Equinox is made in Mexico. It is/was a very well made product from what I saw a few years ago (6) at a trade show.

    We saturate them with oil, and dry them off prior to installing. Ideally you would want to do this every season.
