Heat is the problem.
If you are using plastic foundation, I clean off the mess & recoat the frames with extra wax. The rest of the hive is good to use again.

I like to use a strip of cardbord curled up with the pellets in the center. Works fine for starting the pellets and makes a nice smoke :thumbsup:

Find a local bee club and ask for some help.:) Get some frames and cut that comb off the top & rubber band them to each frame.
Next time if you stay with beekeeping buy from a reliable source.
One box is enough; sounds like you donít have anything to lose. You may have a hard time finding a queen now but, you have a month to do a trap out that may change. Feeding them canít hurt.
Not enough information, what do have now a nuc, medium, single deep? I am adding supers to all of my hives this week. The girls are building up fast this month and swarm calls have started. :eek:...

Why not get two queens from the same place you get the packages, Split the two you have now and see what you end up with late summer? If the nucs donít thrive combine back to old hive. If all goes...
Do you have queens available this early to make a split or nucs? You could put a queen excluder between each box for a week or two then when ready look for eggs.:)
