    If I read the apivar directions correctly,, you should NOT treat with honey supers on,, If I were you,, I would consider that honey as the bees winter supply and NOT harvest it...

    contact some bee clubs in the area of your land, and find out what they do to protect their hives,, I am not confident that a simple electric fence will do the job,, but they will know better
