  1. Re: Eight frame mediums and foundation less frames for bait hives?

You're better off filling both boxes with drawn frames. I tried what you're doing last year with some of my traps and the ones that were full off drawn comb always won out. I think I only had one of...

  3. Re: What sliding compound miter saw should I buy?

Thanks everyone for your input. Now that Barry threw in the Hitachi, I have four to consider.
I think the Ridgid and the Bosch are out so that leaves the DeWalt and Hitachi. I'll have to do a...

    Re: Your toolbox

This is the best way to carry bee tools. In the event of a hurricane, you can simply fill it with water and place it on your top cover to keep your hive from blowing away!
  7. What sliding compound miter saw should I buy?

Bosch just came out with the "Glide" which saves a lot of room in the wood shop.

But, I love DeWalt tools and you can get a free stand with a miter saw purchase.

Gov. Scott just emailed me this pic to share based on Ace's revision. He's personally in the Emergency Preparedness Warehouse now as I write this drilling holes in buckets!

What's going on here? You red states have more government intrusion than blue states!

Here in SF, we believe in limited government intrusion into our lives and our apiaries. We don't even fill out a form! We're more conservative than you think!

    Re: Bee vac

This is one I made four years ago and it still works great. It's a bucket in a bucket. Rick on Beesource had put out pics and plans but I can't find them now.

This is an LGO swarm from yesterday on the church rooftop where our club meets. This was one of our members, not mine. No SCL for comparison at this trap location.

    Re: Bee vac

I made a Beevac based on the Bushkill vac and I found that my 6.5hp Ridgid detachable blower was enough to vacuum bees into two medium 8 frame boxes with a 30 ft. Hose. Like Nabber says, it's not the...

    Dan,

Ollie is used to being the head Rooster when it comes to swarms. Expect plenty more movies and and also a lot more bragging.
