Ravenseye, Have you used this? If so what's your opinion of it and do you know how much to use to make a gallon?

    A spray for wax moths

Sometime back someone on here was selling these granules to mix with water to spray comb before storing for the winter to prevent wax months. Does anyone remember who that was?

Wash them with soap and water to get the honey off. After they are dry (and stiff) soak them in FGMO (aka mineral oil laxative aka mineral oil with no scent) and work that in well to soften them...

    Re: Larvae age

Thanks Fusion power. From doing the math it would be 7 days from the time the egg is laid before they absolutely couldn't make a queen cell. If I got this right you really wouldn't want a queen made...

    Re: Larvae age

The egg hatches at 3 to 3 1/2 days. My question is how long from the time the egg is laid to when the larvae is too old for the bees to make an emergency queen cell.

    Re: Treating Japanese Beetles

I use the bags you hang on poles to catch them. I hang the bag away from the garden on a shepherd's hook. We also use lime on the vegetables.

Why do you say that? We bought some queens from him that were very good.
