    I have it in every hive along with 9 frames of standard foundation. I have found they draw it out and use it when they need it.

    Where can someone get honey tested and would that help explain?

    I use 3:1 wax to rosin but I think he's asking about using microcrystalline wax mixture.

    The candy needs to be mixed to perform correctly in the hive. The bees labour to keep the hive a constant temp and humidity.
