    Is Honey Halal?

    I know that it's enjoyed by many in the Muslim community, and that it's mentioned in the Koran, but is it intrinsically Halal, and does the method of processing it alter that?

    I know this is statistically insignificant, but I have 20 hives, 2 which have had these ventilation boxes. Neither have swarmed, came through winters well, and they've been my top producers.

    I made about 10 similar nuc bodies (mediums) last season and while they seem to be holding up well, they are bowing out in the middle. I think 1/2 inch plywood works much better with the bottom...
