    Some of the old beekeepers around me stated the bees don't like white flowers on the beans, but will go after the purple, haven't seen it myself, just going on what they have experienced.

    I asked a local farmer to plant purple flower beans, which is GMO based, makes no difference in yields according to him, I get more honey out of it. He stated all of the beans are self pollenating!

    Yeah we do, but I haven't seen any beetles during my inspections.

    I had laying workers last year, produced nothing but drones, look for drone cells while your at it. I'd get a queen ASAP otherwise you'll be wasting your time like I did last year!!
