Is it to late to get in on this?
Would love to give these a try.
I think maybe what I will do is since I have a deep just sitting out in the shed(the deep I took off hive two)is to steal some foundation from it and make some starter strips since it...
I am needing to put a super on my first hive(I still have no idea if my second hive will make it...I'm not sure what to do with it)I don't have any foundation to use in the frames which are...
Ok,I will check some larva the next time I'm in the hive. Thanks for sharing that tip.

Hi tecumseh,JohnK and RidgeRunnerBunny,
I went into the hive today for a closer look at what was going on...
They haven't even touched the 9th and 10th frames so I pulled the second deep off so...
One of my hives isn't doing so great.
They haven't even started on the second deep yet and their activity is very minimal at times. Although there is a number of bees nothing compared to my...
I remember that scene in the movie.
-->(each being distinctive and unique).
How true that is.
I'm having a blast with the bees and learning about them, not just how to care for...
I was going to go into a long spiel on how to get a handle on your problem as I have been through the same deal but then decided to do a search and found a site that makes it easier for me so I don't...
That was another thought that had come to mind as well after sitting back and thinking about what you had told me in a previous post.
Hi Jim B,

I was out standing by the hives and kept getting a weird smell every so often so I bent down and took a good whiff of the entrance on...
I had a very similar incident as yours only I was towing another vehicle behind on a dolly when it happened. Makes for a very pleasing sparkler show and a very unpleasant day.
Another time I...
You sure can.
What radios do you have? and what parts are you needing...tubes?
I'll post some links to some part sources tonight when I can get some more time.
I make replica dial scales for old/antique radios and vintage gear among other things using Avery Decals for windows and have used clear full sheets like what you are talking about before as well. I...

Most wheels take around 60-90 ft/lb others might tell you 90-100 I personally torque mine at around 70-80 ft. lbs.

Buz,we have more then enough seagulls here to give em away.
Daytime temps have been around 70-80 degrees with nighttime temps in the mid-high 40's to low 50's. Our temps change constantly though.
Nope,no treatments of any kind right now.
I'm going to go with condensation. The puddles have not been spotted in about a week or there about's.
-->Or switch to screened bottom boards.<--
That's the plan for next year.
Well,Gee I noticed he is qualified to do so but I'm not sure I could afford his time smile.gif
Hi Michael and FordGuy,
That's what I was thinking but thought I would ask the pros.
Michael,I kind of figured it might could be condensation and yes I know the laws of gravity.
Anyway's I was...
I am just wondering about some bees that I have found dead in front of my hives a couple times. They usually are on the ground or landing board and maybe only 1 or 2 at a time.
Its kind of hard...
I can get some California Laurel(Pepperwood) for anybody interested but wont be able to gather seeds until October.
This tree or shrub depending on how you grow it blooms in late winter-early...
Hi Pete and CFF,
Here is a link about Sourwood
I would be very interested in doing these trades but unfortunately don't have anything to trade but I will be on the lookout for things.
This link should tell you all you need to know about PQ-80
5 gallons of the stuff will yield approximately 1000 gallons if you hold the dilution at 200:1
and at $439 I would treat the...
