    Thanks rader , do you if there using a simple A/C motor . Just seems like a better setup easy to find parts and alot less money to fix than the direct drive D/C motors .

    Maxant 20 frame

    How is maxant setting up there variable speed on the 20 frame , are they using a A/C motor with leather washers , if so seems like it would be a easy extractor to work on , instead of the expensive...

    Thanks for the info , glad to know it can be changed over to the new style but I bet its not cheap !! Might be 400 or 500 for the motor assembly . if I ran into that I would be back up to the new...

    Just how big and heavy is the 1400P to move around ,I believe its listed at 26 '' Dia. , is the motor easy to remove if you wanted to transport it or move it outside to clean .

    Not sure I want sprockets on top to shift .

    Drill would work but looking for a more permanent and typical motor that you see...
