True enough, however, just once will make a lifelong impression……..speaking from experience.

    Re: Closed to the public?

I would imagine your insurance company would frown on the practice now. The "Chain of Custody" laws already exist but I don't know how they would ever enforce them. I'd close the doors and use...

Re: Paramount Farms buying out beekeepers?

It could work …. right people, correct plan. I know for a fact there are 'major players' that will sell and accept the 'management' positions under certain conditions. I question the potential...

Re: Paramount Farms buying out beekeepers?

It is nearly impossible to 'outpay' a "really qualified" mans desire to do it on his own. Any commercial beeman will echo Jim's statement.

    Re: Angry landowners

Guess I'll be the contrarian here…….I once saw a beek lose an almond contract for driving into a wet orchard. I don't drive on anyone's wet ground without his blessing……..most especially a crop,...

Re: Bobcat 5th wheel, two wheel setup.

I'm not going to say that Bobcat never made a "5th Wheel" attachment for a 643 but I am unaware of one. The only 'factory' made ones that I'm aware of were designed for the older 500/600 series...

Re: Do you check before you place your hives

You've not given near enough information.

Here is an example……we have 3 to 6 trucks running each night, often two loads each. Every location is registered (often for 40 years or more), we have...

Re: using the mast off a Clark TW25 on a Bobcat610

One of my 610s has a 10' version of that mast……main thing I don't like is it is a 'gravity feed' down…….requires some additional plumbing and is much slower then the power up/power down. Also, make...
