    I would deal with it sooner than later, longer you wait the more comb they build. If its very big and no too soft you could rubber band it in an empty frame and they will attach it to the wood.

    Typically the queen and primary swarm leave when QC is capped. IF you find queen I think I would pull her out and make a split.

    Yes, research a cloake board, it is a queen excluder that has a removable metal floor(to make top queenless for first 24 hrs which is your starter then pull floor out and it serves as your finisher....
