  5. Re: Reuse of hive parts when exposed European foulbrood

I have been steam melting my three or four EFB deadout combs. Two or more hives got over it and are producing.

Re: My Little Bee Bee tree!

Yes, one normally should not stack mulch against a plant much above it's normal root crown. Bee Bee trees hate being in pots, it looks like yours is in the ground, good. Liquid fertilizer is a great...

Re: MANY, MANY Swarms this year. Would you agree?

Re: Fighting at swarm trap entrance

Fighting and killing each other is common baited swarm behavior. It is often a sign that they will almost certainly arrive. Here is an example:

You call about 5 years "much"?

    Duh, you are younger.

  18. Re: OD Frank finally honors his agreement but with a catch

We got my usual, BBQ chicken SUPER tacos, which are MORE expensive than regular tacos, not the cheapest as Charlie indicated. Next time I am in San Francisco I am going to make him treat me at...

There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch

In 5/2014 I won a "free" Warre hive in a raffle contest at Honey Hive Farms in Missouri, that I read about here on Beesource. I paid $108 for shipping of the hive to me here in California. I put a...

I see a lot of dislike for Duragilt foundation mentioned and agree with it.
  25. Re: Why is the entrance parallel with the frames?
