    Hive A swarmed a primary swarm
    I caught the swarm it had a 2013 marked queen and decided to do a paper combine with hive B but removed queen and placed her in new nuc to be kept as a spare ....

    You can try spraying some Honey robber or Fisher's bee-quick into the cavity
    It might help getting them out.

    I use a windex bottle mix a touch of vinegar with water then mist my hot spots wrists and socks
    And bees keep away

    Well from now on each super gets marked as supers are placed ex. hive 1 first super A next one B .
    That way I can keep track which hive and how many supers it produced per year

    I never did look for the Qeen when taking supers off
    Excluder on and honey robber and she still stayed who would guess

    Hope she is back home and yes it was one of my own queens

    Yes your right I did not work bare handed Will have to try

    I made a muff a 5 gal. paint strainer and put a 1/8 wire mesh inside to make a dome

    Worked perfect for a guy with big hands
