    I run my JD right along the side and front of the hive with no issues. Use a hand battery powered grass cutter to do right up to the hive.

    Worked out fine. Two hives have 14 full medium frames full of honey and two hives have 10 and 20 full frames. time to build 2 more medium supers and add them on.

    Strange question.....any issues with opening hives when it is over 85 degrees with high humidity. i work during the week, and it's Saturday and heading for 95 degrees with a heat index of 105...

    I use a full height super as the main brood chamber
    I use medium supers above that
    2 for more brood
    Then a queen excluder
    Then one or two more medium supers for honey
