IMO they starved to death, there can be honey within one inch but if its too cold they can't or won't move. the white spots sound like the start of fermenttation.
Thats funny I have a glue applicator that looks just like that, works great as a glue applicator!
I like the rabbeted better, less end grain to rot and with todays glue you don't have to worry about them falling apart. I know that if you keep them painted one joint will last as long as another...
I would tell him that I'm a BeeKeeper not a Bee Killer and that it is not possible to remove them now without killing them. If you can make it worthwhile money wise to you I would do it but if not...
I would also think that it would taint the wax and honey, just an opinion!
I got 2 packages from him last year, 3#s that were probably 4# packages because due to weather I received them 2 weeks late. I was satisfied and will get more from him as needed.
I put my Rabbets on the ends because that's where you put the rabbets for the frames and that way you only have to do two pieces. I place my handholds only on the ends so if you use migratory covers...
I think that too many people can't read a post or the large Beekeepers have taken over this forum when you can't shop around for good deals on Bee' or Products. I think you received a rude response...
Mikej; I don't believe you're going to get anything too specific from the State heck we can't even get a decent road map in NC. The best thing to do IMO is to buy and read The ABC & XYZ of Bee...
Bizzybee thinks he is a psychic instead of a Moderator, how does he know what your plans were and since you said it was a paste from the E-mail how can it be derogatory
You will eventually get your money back in about ten years
Bee Equipment Suppliers carry it but I ordered my #8 x 3' wide by 100' long from Idealtruevalue.com it was a lot cheaper there $118.00 plus shipping but they are in Ark. so that was not bad.
AIA stands for Apiary Inspectors of America
What everyone is forgetting is this is a BeeKeeping Forum and as such this emersion heater should not be re-engineered on here. It would also be a violation of the UL label to alter it, also Maxant...
I believe you should contact Maxant since you brought them from them, also a 120v plug looks a lot like a 240v plug. Maxant may have put the wrong plugs on.
You're going to need a Router, a Dovetail jig, dovetail bits or are you talking about a box joint jig for use with a table saw?
You can get 3'x1/8"x100ft. for about $118.00 from these people.

If I'm not mistaken, they quit making plywood with CCA several years ago, had a problem with it leaching into the soil.
I think I would go to a Seamtress and have two zippers put on it
The problem today is that we don't have Scientist we have studiers who are interpreting what people are observing. It took about 40 years for people to realize that "DDT" was dangerous and I don't...
I've had two of those suits and have never had a problem with being stung thru them, however if it's tight fitting you may get nailed
I've read somewhere that this is the way they test for hygenic behavior if I'm not mistaken it was on this Forum
Put a box together, square it up then nail a small strip of wood inside and outside. You now have a jig to align your box to make it square, also if you're going to use glue you need a hole for the...
