The snow was 26" on average, but luckily the 3 hives were protected by nearby trees and the wind kept the snow away.
Checked on the girls this afternoon, all were out and about from the top...

I always put mine on the day before, I have found if put on too early they figure out how to go back through.

I just requeened over the weekend.
I left the attendants w/ the queen, they all were out of the cage (queen laying) w/ in 2 day's.

Oregon is a bit far away, but I would recommend looking at Nourse Farms in Dearfield, MA.

2 hives came through w/o problems.
