    You need the right size tip. And they do wear out. you will not get much more than 50 gallon through it. Before you need to replace. Other wise you are wasting paint. 30+ years painting contractor.

    Freezer is your friend. Freeze for 48 hours. BT the frames or other moth controal. If it is not to bad they will repair it.

    As sakhoney said their is no reason to wash unless you want to use the water for mead. For small batch of wax. Just a Styrofoam cooler and a pies of glass will do it on a summer day. You sure...

    I made a PVC tube in 2" pipe with a cap and screw on lid. It help a lot. I fill it with some water. Helps keep them clean of honey. Started with 2 and now have 5. This size is only good for j hook.

    Find yourself a small trailer put the hives that you plan on moving on them in the spring. That way you just have to strap them down and go.

    Yes and then if you want it even easyier then move to 8 frames. Way easyier. Yow will all most never need to pick any frame then. But you will have more honey in your cuttings to drain / spin out.

    I like to keep them about three miles apart. About ten hives at max to a yard. That way I can get a short break from yard to yard

    Had a keeper tell me that for skunks he runs a hot wire across the front of the hive. One zap and they will leave them a lone. I had no luck in raising hives. The only why I got rid of the problem....

    Wooster makes a great 4" roller frame that actually rolls like a normal roller. My go to roller for that and painting boxes.
