    I think the half-life is a very important point, they are killing now and will kill for many years later.As was noted in paper chemicals found in fields that had been out of use for a couple of years.

    Sounds like the mix was too dry, I mix 25 ils to 1qt water.The boiling does make you loose water if you go too long may have lost more water than you think.

    How do you manage to setup wide open nucs close to the tall hive without robbing.If I set a nuc near my strong hives they rob it out in 24 hours.

    The coupling needs to be a drive type or they will not hold up .I have driven several in my area years ago but its sand and the water is only 21 ft.
