    Of course I decap with a knife.... and scratcher where necessary... as one would normally do over a capping box....use a standard strainer from Kelleys.

    How do you know soda is not good for them? Mixing a little HBH in Mountain Dew might be just fine. How bout swimming pool water...is that bad too? Never lost a bees feeding HBH ... other causes ..yah.
