    With my limited knowledge, the filling of your Honey super would happen in a major honey flow in your area and of course bepending on your hive condition, strong, weak etc.

    Having an extractor is great for taking off honey during the year and nice to have your own. As you say "used don't come up often" so you can always sell it.
