    As I am 6'5" 230 lbs I had the same problem, I would never wear a suit, to hard to get into and way too hot. A jacket with heavy jeans is the only way to go. My old jacket was a regular canvas...

    Waiting could be the death of the hives, you need to consider treating right away or give them up. These guys on here will give you better info. How many frames are infected? Are they near pine trees?

    If you planted a crop of say Borage, you could get 3 flowering crops per year and get in theory 900 lbs of honey per acre. If you could harvest the seeds and the ruffage for say hayledge to feed cows...

    The answer is easy, go to the home and take the frames and leave the hives, then put a note on the hives stating that you "rescued" the bees and you would like to have the hives aswell with your name...
