    Re: re-liquifying honey

I tell my customers to NEVER microwave honey. The heat is too high and will change the flavor, destroy the healthful benefits of the enzymes in the pollen, and dehydrate it to the point it can't be...

How many hives do you have? Can you get more frames and bees from another hive to get this trap out hive over the hump until your queen is mated and laying?

Great service when I called, pretty good pricing made even better with free shipping over $100 (and who can't pull together $100 worth of supplies to order), prompt delivery, and quality woodware.

Re: Join 2 week hives or not...

Personally, I would try adding frames of brood and bees from a strong hive to help them both along now (don't know if you have that available to you though). I just had some luck with that myself...
