    Re: Wax Moths???

It was super nasty, three full supers of honey full of SHB larvae. Once they burrow into the honey it starts leaking out and makes a hell of a mess. There was no saving any of it!

Re: Getting Stung Through Bee Suit

I got stung in the chin the other day with my suit on. I must have had my head just right to be rubbing my chin against the veil.

    Re: Southern Bee keeper Issues

I wish I just had three, I bet I kill 20 on the inner cover everytime I open my hives. I have 4 beetle jails in each hive and am going to try the oil tray bottom boards this year. I need to somehow...

Re: How's my label and a hive moving question

It basically says that as a hobbyist can sell up to 15k worth of honey without a license and you don't have to bottle it in an approved kitchen.

    The label is 4"x2", when I made it I used a 10pt...

How's my label and a hive moving question

Here is my new label. It is fairly busy, but with Florida's cottage food laws all of that info needs to be listed on the label.

My moving question is; how do I move my hives about 50ft? They are...

    Re: aggressive bees

One of my three hives does the same thing. It used to be fairly docile but now they will consistently pepper my veil and have chased me around the yard after finding me in the garden. I'm guessing...

Re: Installed my first packages ever

This is the weaker of the two. I couldn't find the queen in this one. There is only about 2.5 frames drawn out on this one. Should I be worried?

Re: Installed my first packages ever

This is a video of my first hive inspection. I found the queen in this hive and it looks to be very strong(compared to my other hive). There were two supersedure cells that were partly made. I did...

Re: Installed my first packages ever

Ohh, and the drones coming back sound like B1 bombers flying by your head! They seem kinda dumb too, they didn't have the right glide slope coming in and missed the hive entrance board numerous...

    Installed my first packages ever

Here is a video of my first install of bee packages I did yesterday. I think it went fairly well. I ended up putting the syrup cans in another jar. The bees have been very active and have eaten...
