    I picked up a copy at the EAS in Vermont. Its a good book to read on basic beekeeping. Contains excellent photos.

    Just seen it on the News and I know the beekeeper that retrieved the swarm. He said the bees were very gentile. Ill find out what the swarm weighed.

    Caught a small swarm from one of my hives on 4/20/2012 in a White Birch tree about 20 feet high around 5:00pm.

    You can mix them together. I use both all plastic frames and wooden frames with plastic foundation inserts and even wooden with wax foundation.

    That's one of the main reasons I stay with one suppler. I purchased my hivewhare from Betterbee also. They advertise that there brood boxes are 7/8" thick.
