    putrid sweet smell?

What causes a putrid sweet smell in the hive?
    Kindof smells like rotting fruit.
Is this normal? or is this the way goldenrod smells.

Checked today before I went about requeening. There was lots of eggs. I think this queen is OK. For whatever reason she started laying again.

I guess I can split em.
Is the new queen just too young for a 10 frame hive? or should she be doing a better job? i.e. is it worth...
