    Re: Hygienic behavior?

Walt, they are being carried all the way out in front, not left on the bottom board. This is one colony of 20 in the same spot. No others have this going on. I doubt it is poisoning. As to pollen and...

Re: Mold and Yuck on comb

I had a couple hives get infested with mice and every other terrible nasty thing. Swarms moved in, killed the mice, cleaned everything up like nothing ever happened.

So a buddy gave me a few gallons of 2:1 syrup a month ago, it now has a slight case of mold. Can I feed it to some nucs?

Re: How big a problem are mice in the winter?

If you get mice in a hive how do you get rid of them? I assume that a healthy built up hive won't allow them but what about a reduced cluster during cold weather?

Does that mean that ryobi now makes good tools? Are you using ridiculous to mean "very good"?

In the past ryobi tools have been garbage. Have they picked up their game?

    Re: Homemade oxalic acid vaporizer

So after treating all my hives for my first round I am curious what kind of residue people are finding in their vaporizers. It seems that there is almost always a little crud left over. Thoughts?
