Has anyone heard what they are going to do with the bee after almond pollination?
Good shipping first two loads out Friday and Saturday nights going to Bakersfield hoping they have something to do when they get there
sounds like bees might be getting short had three brokers call this week looking for bees each wanted 3+ loads
you are from WI? i think lots of guys up there use the cheese board. it comes from somewhere in WI some one there would know better i just heard that.
yes i think their are bad varroa years last year was bad this year not bad at all. Had an "easy" if i dare say time of it. lol watch this week ill look at them and they will all be dead, love...
yes looking excellent over here also, havn't heard of any losses around here yet.
also they can be picked up in Fl in lots of 100 for the same price before almonds
I have 408 story and a halfs for sale. They will be a 8+ frame average, treated and ready for almonds; or what ever you need them for. They will be ready to go the last week of Jan. We can have...
for all my bee space boards i buy treated 1x2's i can get 940 8footers in a bunk for about .70 a piece
Keith do you use untreated wood then? And are you dipping them just like a bee box (300f for around 5 min)?
They will build them to my specs, I supply the wood and clips, I think they will build and clip for 8$
The reason I'm going with the treated plywood is i have a company that will build pallets for me, but they want to use new wood, and the form board is used with the rivets and cement and stuff on it....
Just wondering what you guys use for your decks on your bee pallets? I have been using concrete form board but; am thinking about using treated plywood for this next batch i need to make. Do you...
Keith is this what you are talking about?
acbz can you post a pic on the forum i would like to see that also
2011 F-350 86,000 miles one sensor went out, other than that a great truck!
Ian i couldn't tell you if i even have any.
The cost is so small each year and i see benefits from using menthol with other essential oils, that even if i didn't have T-mites I would still use it....
In one or two more years I might take you up on the Rogain Mark lol.
I used to use menthol a few years back then quit because "No one has T mites". But the bees just never looked as full and...
Thanks for the post Keith! Would you mind telling how You use a sticky, to tell when to treat, and if the treatment worked?
I do see your point with the jar washes sometimes we will roll...
We still incorporate a shot of menthol in our bees twice a year, I couldn't tell you if i have T-Mites but why take a chance when the menthol mix seems to make the bees look nicer. (could be in my...
Keith could you also comment on why you feel a sticky board is better than a wash test?
Nice truck! Why a gasser?
Alcohol wash here also, before and after treatment. It truly amazes me how many treatments do not work the way they say they do on the box. our acceptable numbers really depend on the time of the...
