    Thanks for help and the hive did have a rotten meat/dead smell before hand...I thought it was the dead bees on the ground....

    I have 2 swarms I caught both with the last few weeks and one has a queen which is laying but is really small hive they can barely cover 2 frames....the 2nd swarm is queenless not sure what happened...
