    no finish carpenter here , currently work for J&J making contact lenses . Thanks for the compliments . I call the tall hive modified warre hives as they are not the correct dimentions for a warre .

    end entrance holes

    I placed 2 holes at the end seems to be working fine . These are 3/4 inches and a 5 inches apart . I have heard others reasons to place the entrance in the side , but I like the end entance better .

    Screw it

    I use screws for everything I put together and predrill the holes . also check the size of nail or screw maybe to big for the board. I also use gorilla glue to help keep things together .

    placement of Beehives
