    I cut 4 out yesterday with an exacto knife. A few I didn`t have a hole, the others I put a piece of wax on it and molded it over the hole. 4 other cells I made little laidlaw push in cages over them....

    One question Bee Pro, does any one make a bigger cell protector than what Man Lake sells? I bought a bag of them and I have yet to get a cell to fit in them. I end up with half or better of the cell...

    When you get to making your own nucs D.Coates style, buy a sheet of Smart Sideing, it`s like T- 111 but made of osb and painted already. Has a 30 year warranty don`t swell like osb I paint the cut...

    I meant it both ways rem., If you install a package your gonna have to feed them,ergo sugar in your honey. Extract it in July (which you might do, or leave it for the dearth in summer) and feed them....

    How would you fit frames in the box with all the bees inside hanging from the inner cover or lid ?I just installed one about 20 min ago, I put 2 frames in the bottom box and 5 frames in the nuc...

    Yes Mark I have, I extract over wintered honey in early April temps still cold I need the frames to make up nucs. The frames are still heavy with honey and crystals after extracting 20 min or more....

    It looks like your stack is sitting on an old chest freezer.There is your solution to your problem . Stack all your supers in there, put in two light bulbs with a thermostat set at 100 degrees it...
