    Usually when there bunched out like that there overcrowded or its warm in the hive check for swarm cells check if there's laying room for the queen. Queen runs out of laying room they will fill...

    If you have Capped Honey and pollen really no need to feed but its up to you if you want to feed doesn't hurt lay the queen cage on the bottom board with the screen part facing up pull the cork out...

    Thats what I call it I lost 20 colonies in December Full of Honey in two double deeps bees just leave the hives brand new equipment brand new queens so yeh it stinks .

    Get yourself a table saw and a table router I have the craftsman you'll be set....I make all my hives and what not with those two power tools. Hand holds are easy with a simple jig and the router....
