    I have all my hives numbered ---I use old license plates -cut out the -numbers and letters----when I keep notes I know what hive the notes are for --like some has said after an long day I can't...

    it got down in the 30's here in northern Ind. ----what I did was wrap the NUC up in a heavy blanket over night and removed it when the sun came up --they are doing great

    lay it flat with screen up in a warm room ----

    put the cage in between 2 frames with screen up and candy end up just a little so if a worker dies it doesn't block the hole

    too many days below 0 in a row -even with plenty of store they couldn't break cluster to move over to store --when they eat from blocks they were all over them

    SANTA ---read it over again ---NOT ANTS ---but carpenter BEES --on my barn they drilled hole on the unpainted 2 x 8 on the sidling doors -behind the doors[[[ 12 ft.]]]--I used 1 cup of dish water...
