Re: Designing a large scale drum warmer

Were I to need to do it (and I will - far in the future) I would setup a simple solar water heating system. Here's a video that I found (Note - it's from Down Under - so the examples are for south...
  9. Re: dont know what but they have several sources of pollen blooming here

Whether or not we get another cold snap - I can't help but feel that the pollen coming in is a GREAT thing! The protein that the new brood needs is coming into the hive, by their choice, for their...

Here, I believe the blood red to be henbit. My garden area is covered with it since I didn't make a winter cover crop over the garden this year. They've been bringing in bright orange, pale yellow...
  11. Re: trailor hitch / platform cargo carrier suggestions?

I have the HF cargo carrier. We have used it to carry extra food coolers, etc. when we were vending and had the pickup bed loaded with inventory to sell. The main issue might be the receiver-hitch...

    Re: Crosscut sleds

Whether using wood runners or HDPE, I pre-drill & use a counter-sink bit to screw the skids to the sled from the bottom of the skid. Do a search online, and you'll also see where folks drill &...

Re: US Customs - Chinese Honey Laundering

It also reminds me of the "beer of the month" clubs - that would get away with mailing or shipping micro-brew beers via UPS/Fedex - by calling/labeling the package "Live Yeast Samples" - when alcohol...

  23. Re: Brad Nailer or Staple Gun for Frame Assembly?

That's what I use. The smaller 1/4" crown works great for the frames. My gun will shoot finish nails OR staples. Staples do the trick!

What foundation (if any) are you using?
  24. Re: Brad Nailer or Staple Gun for Frame Assembly?

Titebond III to glue them up first., then 1" Staples with my pneumatic staple-gun.
