    Do you have any partially filled brood combs from another hive that you could replace a couple of full frames with? Ideally in our area you want the two outside frames full and at least a two inch...

    Russells have always responded to my pm's & emails. Queen quality is good. Sucessfully introduced 23 out of 24 queens. What do you suspect for such poor queen survival & introduction?

    Cover them with something that ventilates such as some shade cloth or a light weight cotton sheet. That should keep most of them out of the drivers seat :lpf:
