    Plus some Goldenrod starting to bloom.

  3. Leftover drawn supers from deadouts with some honey and pollen

    Can i put these back on and will the bees deal with the leftovers? Deadouts from last winter.
    Need to keep the drawn frames in circulation.

    Coordination of a colony when under siege

    Been having ant problems for awhile and today disturbed/removed the ant nest under the hive. All the ants went up and tried to get in the hive front door.

    No spray = wormy apples in these northeast parts. Not all that appealing.
    Plus you might get apple scab, again not all that appealing.

    I don't know if there is any way around spraying insecticide...

    I strained a couple different batches of honey about mid winter from deadouts. The 1st batch off the top supers was all honey.
    The 2nd batch digging deeper into the hives had some sugar syrup in it....
