    My hives were nucs with new queens and we took no honey.
    Both appear strong and have capped honey.
    Hope to make a nuc or two this year and harvest honey.

    First year and both hives have survived so far.
    Put sugar and pollen substitute on both hives.
    Hoping to do quality inspections when the weather gets better.

    First year wiyh two hive both made it through the worst of winter.
    They still have capped honey, sugar and some pollen sub added a few days ago.
    Hope to come out strong and make a split and nuc.

    My goal is to make and over winter 2 nucs.
    Bought 2 nucs last last year that grew into hives and both over wintered.
    No good input on profit but for me some over wintered nucs would be priceless.

    After months of freezing weather we had a few days in the 40's
    Both my hives made it this far added some fondant and pollen patties.Hope they get through the next few weeks below freezing

    2 hives both alive after some -15f plus wind chill days.
    Still capped honey but put several pounds of hme made fondant.

    New to the hobby but have a different hive temperment.
    Was working with cherry wood in my shop 100' from the hives and a worker flew around me for awhile then landed and crawled around before going...
