    Most of nucs didn't make it threw winter and the one that did built up slow in the spring.also he is a good guy to talk to and the nucs where big heavy nuc.

    Clover flow hive management

    How do you manage hives near a big clover field. Do you just keep stacking up the supers or what do you do. I've got 5 deeps of honey on some of the hives. I just added another today on all my hives....

    I'm lucky both miller and brushy mnt bee supply are driving distance. Miller had a sell on med supers for 5$ I racked up on them.

    I live on va nc border and my hives that have natural drawn comb are loaded with capped drones. I'm hoping it will warm up so I can make some queens and splits.

    my nucs are probly not worth the 100lbs of honey, but i like talking to other beekeepers that buy my nucs and helping new beekeepers get started. i could make my nucs up a little later.
