If people got stung and then not attacked they may just be in the flight path or the hive was already upset. I have not dealt with AHB's but all I have read is that when one stings more follow right...
Thanks, got that from the TB side. If you shake them the laying worker will not continue her deeds in the next hive right?
If you let the lying worker hive go it will die out on it's own correct?
If you put a mated queen in a hive with a laying worker will the queen sort thigs out?

For the TB I use plumbers strap on a top bar and once the bees have attached the comb I remove the strap. Works well with heavy comb. I went to 3 straps 2 on the outside facing...
Depending on the number of cells sometimes they may miss one or two.
In my opinion local for allergies is foowy as you put it. I tell my customers that a couple of beekeepers got together and tried to come up with a way to sell more honey and there you have it.
No...
Anybody putting bees on Canola (Rapeseed) and if so hows the honey?
Is it a Box Elder?
My first ever encounter with bees was a cut out in March. I put on insulated coveralls, heavy coat, gloves I had at the house, hat and veil I bought from China. I taped the cloves on, taped my pant...
If they are building good and unless you just want the practice I would just take the comb out and let them move on. Less chance of getting stung, less chance of killing a queen, more chance of...
You have to watch them girls, at times they have a mind of their own.
Did you get the queen or no? They can get pretty upset if they lose their queen.
Depending on how big the brood comb is you could rubberband it into a frame if you think there is enough you want to save otherwise yes just clean it up and move on.
Looks like a good job, if you were closer I would have you make me one.
I keep any capped comb, work the rest of the comb with honey to feed back at some point and make sure there is enough brood to keep them and for them to work with.
You may put another layer of paper and let them go through a second time. I just did a top bar combine with newspaper. They have taken their time getting through but seem to be fine.
OR it may be...
I would put back any brood comb, harvest the capped, & let the bees do the rest
Coming in from the top should be no big deal just treat it like a top bar when you pull it out and flip it. If you turn it right you should not lose that much comb and once you sit it down you can...
I use a hold harmless form for the cutouts that I do, If you would like a copy to look at and see if will work for you PM me your e-mail and I will send it to you.
Liabilty for just having your bees, doing cutouts, selling honey at market, having someone else sell your honey?
LLC dosen't take away any liabilty
Just a bit more info is needed for a correct...
Without seeing the platform any guess is site unseen but if you can cut the plywood and lift that is the way I would go.
I use 2x6 or 2x8's for the top bar and rip them down to size. I have never treid a 1x6 for top bars, I do however use a 1x6 for the bottom. When TB's are built and sold you have to figure labor or...
