    if you have a frame with eggs from another hive, you can try giving them that and see if they'll either make a queen or brood if the queen is still in there.

    Becasue they fly at night and the smell of that wax and honey will bring them in from miles away. In a strong hive....the bees keep them at bay and wont let them in but a weak hive or open supers are...

    I read also that if placed in the fridge (the bottle or glass jar that is containg the bees) for a few mins....the cool will slow down the bee to where they can be handled with tweezers easier....
