    Blackberries are done in the East Side. Fireweed has not started yet. Should be soon though. Just bought 300 gallons of syrup for the hives not headed into the mountains for fireweed.

    Dont take the cell. Find the queen and take her and the other bee's. If you cant find her then she is either slimmed down and ready to leave or has already left. Depends on the number of bees in that...

    They build up better in tight spaces. But, if you have a swarming problem then more space is better. Add another box. Mix up their frames push the capped brood down and move eggs up.
