This is a hive with an acrylic view window 3/4" thick. This hive was placed in October and this picture was taken in January. Notice the snow melt on the top cover from the heat of the bees within....
The app is nessesary as it regulates voting practises and prevents fraud. I agree if there was another way, but there isn't. Although, I think you can vote via twitter as well. Kids that use...
Daily, but please share with others!!
Thanks MichaBees! As for commerical purposes, the cost of the brackets will be drastically dropping. Will also beginning to see them on bee store shelves, last, a new 5/8" bracket for fencing cedar...

Quite the boxes you have. I personally have hundreds of traditional dado boxes that are warped, cracked, chipped, peeling, bowed and so forth. I have boxes that I had purchased two years ago that...
After reading this thread, really I was besides myself. The traditional box corner is a dado corner and has been around since 1853. Why did they choose this corner, because it was the strongest...
Nice hives Tangelo1106, you did a good job putting them together. Yours is the first cedar medium box I have seen. Would like to see more photos. Thanks.

Last year during a removal I was stung 42 times in the inside of the arms through my suit. These pictures were an hour after. I always put Sting Ease on my bites. The next day all you...
Thanks for the response Vallyman,
The stain is an okay solution but with the humidity inside the hive boxes tend to warp out at the top and bottom. Unless you use 3-4" grabber screws. I have...
Valleyman,
You mention a jig needed for assembly. Where do you get that from?
Traditional hive boxes go together better with a clamp jig due to warping and dado variations, BUT the bracket...
The "wick" heat element was not a factor in Utah during the heat of summer. Molds in the hive during winter are due to poor air circulation.
