    One thing I do different is I make two bottom boards one for each side. Then take some plumbers pipe hangers tape and fasten the bottom board to the bottom Nuc box. This way I can get one side out...

    I made a frame making jig like that one. But moved onto the type that has a bungee that goes around the jig. I like it better.

    First I don't do crush. But I would add a press into the mix to work more honey out. It sounds like you are leaving a lot of honey behind.

    Wouldnt it not be easier to make the box and put the frame right in it? My shop I have enough trouble finding a enough room to turn around beside one more rack. Way to many things to play with.

    Yes but a the same time a lot of time shortly after swarming they supersede the old queen. I would leave her alone and see what see does. If she has a good brood pattern whey mess with a good thing.

    Pres.of the club set out a 1/2 barrel with water hyacinths in it with a couple of fish in it for mosquitoes. worked great.

    The pres.and I are pushing that all club member should have at less a nuc or two around. In part to help keep of the I lost my queen and need one now crowd at bay.
